🌿 Why I Started My Blog
Ever since I was a little girl, I struggled with body inflammation, extra weight, imbalanced hormones that led to unpleasant body odor, and constant brain fog.
Even in my elementary school years, I remember feeling so tired all the time.
It wasn’t until much later that I finally began to feel truly alive.
I created this blog to share the insights I’ve gathered along the way — and the pitfalls you might avoid if you choose to walk a path similar to mine.
My awakening began years ago when I committed to using only natural products and eating simpler, more wholesome foods.
Now, many of my friends and family come to me for advice — whether it’s which natural product to try or how to wear something sustainably. So I thought, why not gather all that knowledge in one place for everyone to reference?
That’s how this blog came to life.
Here, I’ll write not only about health, but about what it means to be purely me — Esther; a being with many passions and layers, just like you.
To be human is such a complex and beautiful experience. I couldn’t make a blog about holistic living without touching on the whole — our environment, beauty, creativity, and spirituality.

✨ The Visual World of PurelyEsther
On another note, as an avid reader of fantasy and romance novels, the visual theme of this blog is inspired by a world that lives in my mind and heart.
Imagine beautiful yet abandoned marble buildings surrounded by enchanted willow forests and lily-covered swamps. Calla lilies and cattails sway as tiny bright fairies brush past them.
If you look closely, you might even spot unicorns silhouetted against a peach-colored sunset.
It’s a world of promise, wonder, and quiet romance.
I’ve even crafted a little paper lantern box that depicts this world — a window made of glass and paper cutouts (pictured below).
In color, this feeling is best captured by the painting Majestic Light by James Coleman.
That world is the essence I wish to share with you — which is why this blog’s theme revolves around water lilies, ponds, and soft enchanted beauty. Perhaps throughout my blogging journey, I’ll create more art to bring this world to life.
